What We’re Wearing

Joe and Jay were traveling this weekend, so Jennifer and I were both home alone with our nuggets. The one-on-one time was nice, but we’re dragging today. Can we get a do-over on the weekend?

In case you missed us on Instagram, here’s a look at what we’ve been wearing (apparently we had a blue-and-white theme going). There are some STEALS here, you guys!

Gingham Off Shoulder Top
this gingham off-the-shoulder top is adorbs…and also comes in petite and tall sizes. we’ve linked all three to the photo!
BCBGeneration Knit Dress
wore this knit dress (now on sale for $60!) to dinner to celebrate joe’s birthday – it’s my idea of the perfect date night look. my favorite tasseled sandals are under $30 – crazy! my Kate Spade clutch is sold out, but this one is super similar.
Striped One-Shoulder Top
you guys loved this $35 one-shoulder top from Nordstrom. it’s been restocked in all sizes!
White Bandeau Bikini
the swimsuit struggle is real, but this Target bandeau top *actually fits*…comes in four colors…and each piece is under $20! can’t beat that.

Speaking of swimsuits, Target has tonsss of cute ones right now. Click here to see our favorites under $30. Psssst you get free shipping on orders over $25!

Have a great week!

what we wore: wedding style.

YOU GUYS. It happened. J got married last weekend! Despite less-than-ideal weather, it was a beautiful, fun-filled weekend. We hope you shared in the journey via Instagram; if you didn’t, check out #JJB2015 for pics. We’ll be sharing some behind the scenes details with you soon! In the meantime…

Obviously THE DRESS is the biggest part of any bride’s wedding wardrobe style, but there are other opportunities to showcase your style during the wedding weekend. Because we kinda want to relive the last 72 hours, we thought we’d share our wedding style with you.

FRIDAY MORNING

{THE EVENT}: Lisa Baker and Sue Baker hosted a gorg champagne brunch on Friday morning at the Ritz Carlton Lodge for the bridal party. The vibe was casual and fun.

{THE BRIDE}: J chose a lace-back beauty from Urban Outfitters. So. Many. Compliments.

{THE MATRON OF HONOR}: L chose a 3/4 sleeve print silk mini dress by Juicy Couture paired with “Tanya” high- heel sandals by Tory Burch. This dress has been sold out for a while (years, actually!), but you can view similar in-stock dresses here.

FRIDAY EVENING

{THE EVENT}: Following the wedding rehearsal, everyone gathered at the President’s House at the Ritz Carlton for a casual BBQ dinner hosted by the Baker family. A cocktail reception for out of town guests kicked off at 8pm.

{THE BRIDE}: J chose a sweet midi-length number with an open back. She looked absolutely beautiful…but we did have a few bra issues. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed by some bandaids, Fashion Tape and manicure scissors, though!
