Happy Tuesday! Maybe Taco Tuesday? We’re down. 🌮
Let’s recap a few of our latest outfits etc because we KNOW you’re in the mood to shop:
We’re crushing hard on denim jumpsuits. They’re so cute and easy to wear! I wore this one from Sole to a benefit concert a few weekends ago and got so many compliments.
This adorable smocked shoulder version from ASOS has a boho, gypsy-girl feel.
This one-shoulder version by Blank Denim bucks the culotte trend with cropped tapered legs. Love the fringe trim – super ladiback and casual.
This off-shoulder jumpsuit, also by ASOS, has a menswear feel. We would pair it with pointy-toe loafers or slides.
The deep-v neckline makes this denim culotte jumpsuit by BCBGeneration date night perfection.
This denim one-piece is technically a romper, not a jumpsuit…but we couldn’t resist. We love the tie-waist detail.
Do you love this trend? Tag us in your snaps on Instagram!
What’s sweeter than an embroidered denim skirt? We’ve rounded up our favorites for under $50. Happy shopping!
If you’re digging the button-down style, try this mini from Forever 21 ($38) or this one from Honey Punch ($48). If you prefer a back-zip style, this cute one from H&M ($35). Fans of the traditional zipper-fly will like this one (also from H&M) ($30). If you’re on the small/short side, try this petite version from Asos ($38). Or shake things up with this white one from Boohoo (on sale for $21!). Click the images below to shop each style!
J: With Baby James’ arrival fast approaching, Jay and I decided to skip town for a little baby-moon. That’s a thing, right?
Not a tall order: something within driving distance from Atlanta, somewhere we’ve never been with a spa (ME) and golf (Jay.) We did our research and decided on… Waterfall Club | Lake Burton. A resort with everything we wanted and a backdrop like no other. You would never think you were less than 2 hours outside the city. A little look into our weekend:
Stay tuned for a review of this little gem of a restaurant we found in Clayton, Fortify Kitchen & Bar.Continue Reading

J and three sweet friends threw the most amazing baby shower for Baby Ed and me at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro. You may have seen a few pics on Instagram. These are a few more of our favorites! We’ll start from the beginning…
I was so glad my mom was able to make the trip. We all missed my mother-in-law, who was (smartly) cruising in cooler temps.
My favorite surprise of the day was…a FLOWER CROWN! I have never been so excited (or so glad that I didn’t do my hair in a top-knot). I had a really hard time taking it off at the end of the
I was so excited and flattered that three of the hostesses were repping my stores! From left: Christa is wearing a skirt from Social Statesboro and Jack Rogers “Georgica” sandals from Sole Statesboro. J’s wearing an ASOS gypsy dress and fringe booties from Lulu’s (sold out, similar here). I’m wearing a vintage Lilly Pulitzer dress (a hand-me-down from my mom – I actually wore this five years ago to a baby shower for Joe!) and Tory Burch heels (incredibly old, also seen here). Kate’s wearing a Love Poppy leather tassel necklace from Sole Statesboro. Niki’s wearing Spanx cropped denim leggings (they’re also a favorite of mine), Jack Rogers “Lauren” sandals and a Sneak Peek top, all from Sole Statesboro.
Everyone who knows me knows I live for brunch. I was so happy to see quiche and mini-pancakes on the menu!
I had the cutest little helpers opening gifts: Joe and his BBFL Leo.
Kate arranged these simple and cute rock candy favors. Joe was fascinated with these…and then he really flipped when he realized it was actual CANDY.
Each hostess received a small succulent in mercury glass from Colonial House.
Post-shower, Joe and I hung out in Ed’s new nursery. He told me “Mom, that was a GREAT PARTY.”…and I totally agree. I was overwhelmed at how beautiful everything was, and how these four friends nailed all of my favorite things. Baby Ed and I are so lucky to have four such incredible women in our lives.Continue Reading
We’re in the dog days of summer…and yet the invitations keep coming. Engagement parties, weddings, baby showers. So what are we wearing? Let’s start with these five maxi dresses.

Our travels out west include work and play while shopping for L’s boutiques Sole + Dish. With such a packed schedule on short trips, we’ve become experts in transitioning our outfits from day to night. Needless to say when Juliana from Vegas.com challenged us to create the #UltimateVegasOutfit, we accepted. Let’s set the scene for a day in Vegas:
Bonjour: Well, good morning! Time to fuel up for the day at one of the best breakfast | brunch spots on the strip, Mon Ami Gabi. From there, hit the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian for a little retail therapy and maybe a gondola ride! Need a pick me up after shopping? (and that means a cocktail) Skip over to Sugar Factory for a “grown-up drink“.
Bonne Nuit: Let’s take on the night. After a quick change at our home away from home, Hard Rock Hotel, we waste no time and head to dinner downstairs at our favorite, Pink Taco. Keep in mind happy hour is from 3-7PM! Post-dinner drinks at The Chandelier Bar in The Cosmopolitan are a must then maybe a little blackjack in the casino. #winning

We have a sneaking suspicion that the weather is not going to cooperate with our pool/beach plans this weekend…so we might just spend the next 48 hours shopping on our phones. These five things top our must-have list!
1 // Gingham Shirtdress. Timeless and seasonless. This cotton dress by Shop Social Dish is easy and breezy now paired with sandals; it’ll also work in the fall with classic riding boots. Use secret code GLITTER when you check out to get 10% off!
3// Kate Spade Tote. We’re more than in love with this light grey Cove Street Tote. Perfect color, great shape…oh, and it’s on sale.
4 // ASOS Larissa Flats. J actually scooped these crazy cute flats earlier this week. So summer-y paired with a chambray shirt and white ripped skinnies. They also come in black, for those of you who aren’t as into pineapples as we are.
5 // South China Seas Pillow. L continues to be obsessed with all things chinoiserie. This coral pillow (the print is Thibaut’s South China Seas) would be amazing on a navy sofa. We’ve used this Etsy seller before – great stuff. So. Many. Pillows.
