It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Those without a Nordstrom card, that is… The Anniversary Sale is *finally* live to the public!
If you haven’t heard, this epic sale includes all new items that are already marked down. Basically what we all dream of, right? Anyway, it’s the perfect time to stock up on basic and classic pieces and maybe a little splurge here and there?
While we obviously love the fashion pieces associated with this sale, we also gravitated to the home items! They’re good, y’all.
The low down: It may be 1000 degrees outside, but let’s shift into fall/winter mode. The Anniversary Sale is when you score your go-to pieces at majorly discounted prices. It may seem silly to buy early, but trust us. Totally worth it. #frugal
Timeline: July 13 | Early access begins (This is for Nordstrom card holders only!) July 20 | Last day of early access July 21 | Public access begins August 6 | Last day of sale.
Here we go! There’s no better place to start shopping than with denim which is your fall/winter staple, of course. A few of our faves from the sale:
We love the fun feel of tassel earrings, and they’re EVERYWHERE right now. Here are our favorites, all under $50!
My tassel earrings from Sole Statesboro are only $16. They also come in pink and white. You can’t buy them online (boo!), but you can call 912-764-7463 to order. Mention secret code GLITTER and get 10% off!
Same day, a few hours south…Joe and I were at brunch (read the post here). Joe’s AFTCO shorts are from my friend Whitney’s boutique Wrens. He has these in several colors – they hold up great and I love the length. You can call Wrens at 478-268-4728 to order, or click here to order directly from AFTCO. Joe has been wearing classic New Balance sneakers since he could walk – they are the best sneakers you’ll ever buy. I have saved every pair for Ed. As hard as Joe plays, he always outgrows his before they wear out. They come in infant sizes as well. Solid purchase!
Fast forward to Easter weekend…(because apparently we wore nothing interesting during the week!)…
Jennifer and Jay spent James’ first Easter at Reynolds Plantation. Jennifer’s white dress is sold out, but this one is super similar.
My husband and I (along with some MAJOR help from my in-laws and some very good friends!) hosted our annual egg hunt on Saturday. We started when Joe Jr. was just 6 months old, and it’s hard to believe that this was our seventh one! It seems to get bigger every year – this year we had 70 adults and 60 kids. That’s a lot of mimosas and pimiento cheese sandwhiches, yall. You can shop Ed’s Minnetonka moccasins at Sole, or you can shop them on Zappos here.
An Easter miracle happened in the Lanier family on Sunday morning. We actually got out of the house – fully clothed, with no yelling and no tears – and made it to church in time to take a photo. I got tons of compliments on my drop-waist dress, and little Joe was looking especially dapper in his bow tie from my friend Ryan’s store Bellies, Babies and Ballerinas (you can follow them on Instagram and comment to purchase!).
We’ve got a Masters hangover (please tell us you guys watched – it was incredible!) and can’t really deal with Monday yet, so let’s review our looks from last week. You guys showed us a lot of love on Insta – thanks so much!!
My faux-suede baseball cap is from my boutique Dish and comes in tons of colors. You can order it here (psssst use discount code GLITTER at checkout and get 10% off your entire order!).
Tag us in your outfits on Instagram – we’d love to see what you’re wearing! Have a great week! xo
