Happy Wednesday, glitter girls!

A few months ago, my Atlanta girlfriends and I decided we were long overdue for a road-trip.Β  We decided on Charleston: there’s brunch, shopping and scenery with zero requisite sunless tanning and/or bikini prep. Plus, it’s only a 5 hour drive from Atlanta. Why not? We needed to get away!

This past weekend, we stayed at the brand-new (only seventeen days old when we checked in) Holiday Inn on Meeting Street. Highly recommend. We spent a good bit of time at the hotel bar/restaurant (shocker) called The Meeting Room. Huge thanks to manager, Kevin aka Kev, for taking care of us.

On Saturday morning, we drug ourselves out of bed for brunch at Toast of Charleston. They had us at bottomless mimosas. The food and service were also great.

Saturday night we ventured to Blossom for dinner. Superb service, great ambiance and delicious food. After dinner, we walked to Pearlz (not a typo) for oyster shooters. Don’t knock it til’ you try it…

Needless to say, lots of laughs and good times were had by all. Looking forward to where the road takes us next time!

P.S. I did manage to shop a little between cocktails. Here’s a little gem I picked up at Old Road Mercantile on King Street.
